BCC accepts echecks, American Express*, Discover*, MasterCard* and Visa*. Payments may be made:

• Via your MyBCC account 24 hours a day.

Notice: Our payment vendor, Official Payments, charges a 2.50% service fee for processing each credit card or debit card transaction. If you pay using a credit card or debit card, this service fee will be added to your total amount owed. If you pay using an e-check or paper check, there is no service fee.

Students' bills are adjusted up or down during a semester if they:

• Enroll in a payment plan.*
  *If you are interested in a payment plan, please contact Student Accounts.

• Register for additional credits.
• Receive financial aid or scholarship awards that do not cover their charges in full.

Students registered in nine (9) credits or more are automatically charged for student health insurance. They are charged $4,379 starting in the Fall or $2,919 for the Spring semester only. In order to waive the insurance (if you have insurance of your own) you need to complete the following tasks:

1. Visit .
2. Type 乌鸦传媒, select 鈥�2025-26鈥� for the Plan Year and then 鈥淯ndergraduate Medical鈥� for Plan Type.
3. Select View My School Portal at the bottom of the page.
4. All students need to sign up for an account. Your old username and password would not work on this new website. Select 鈥淪ubmit Waiver Here鈥� under Already have insurance?
5. Select the term for which you want to the waive the student health insurance.
6. Read and acknowledge the Important Enrollment Information by selecting 鈥淵es, I agree to the above information鈥�. Then select Continue to Next Step.
7. Next you will 鈥淐reate an Account鈥�. Your student email is not your 鈥渟0鈥� number. It is 鈥渇irstname_lastname@student.berkshirecc.edu鈥� (if you are unsure about your email, please contact the One Stop at 413-499-4660) and for your Student ID# do not use the 鈥渟.鈥�
8. The About You page will populate. Verify the information is correct, make any changes needed, and/or complete any required fields that are missing information. Then select Save & Continue.
9. Type in your current insurance provider鈥檚 information.
10. Read Requirement Acknowledgement and check box (Yes, my plan meets the above requirements).
11. Enter Insured Details, then select Save & Continue.
12. A final review page will appear. Review for accuracy.
13. Read the Waiver Terms and Conditions and select checkbox to acknowledge agreement. Then select Finish to submit the waiver.
14. An email will be sent upon submission; however, final determination may take 24 to 48 hours.

A student with a past due balance of $100 or more will:

• Receive a late fee warning by email in mid-October for the fall semester, in mid-March for spring. A $100 late fee will be assessed one week later if the account remains in arrears.
• A Business Office "hold" is also placed on the account, preventing the student from registering for the next term.
• A series of four "demand" letters requiring immediate payment will be sent to the student.

Failure to pay will result in the student's account being turned over to an approved collection company, and the student will be responsible for all collection costs and other fees incurred in the collection of the debt.

Set Up A Payment Plan In Self-Service

There is a non-refundable $30.50 application fee for setting up a payment plan. Students should plan to make their first payment (and pay the fee) once their plan is set up. There is a two-day grace period on payments; late payments will receive a $100 late fee.

Please visit and log in with your MyBCC account info (this is your s# with a lower case "s" 鈥� if you have trouble logging in, please fill out the Online Help Request Form). Once logged-in click on the menu button in the top right corner, click on "Financial Information", click on "Student Finance", and then click on "Make A Payment." Choose a semester and there will be a Create Payment Plan button on the right side of the screen.

A check with insufficient funds is generally deposited twice and only returned to the college if it does not clear the second time. Returned checks will result in the credit being removed from the student's account, and the assessment of a $20 returned check fee. Students will be notified in writing of this action. Repayment must then be made by bank check, money order, or credit card.
