Remediation progress report created: Sept. 16, 2022; last modified: Feb. 13, 2026

In 2022, BCC's Marketing and Communications department began an accessibility audit and a page-by-page remediation of the code and content of berkshirecc.edu by following Section 508 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), which is produced by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.

BCC's main website, berkshirecc.edu, partially conforms with WCAG 2.2 levels A and AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
