- Grains offer a fantastic way to introduce unique flavors, adding depth and interest to familiar baked goods. Beyond their taste, they bring nutritional benefits and support sustainable agriculture. We're fortunate to be surrounded by dedicated grain growers, making it easier to access these ingredients and celebrate local farming through baking. - This introduction to vegan baking explores ingredient substitutions, how to choose the right alternatives, and key factors to consider when adapting recipes to be vegan. Mastering the techniques of vegan baking not only makes your creations more inclusive for family and friends with diverse dietary needs but also strengthens your overall baking skills by deepening your understanding of baking mechanics.

- This course will review the CDC Risk Factors areas that are important to control and practice while preparing and handling foods. Cross Contamination, Time and Temperature controls and Cleaning and Sanitation principles will be covered along with an overview of food borne illnesses and food allergens. This course is recommended for feeding establishments with limited food preparation, temporary food setups such as non-profit functions and those working with foods that desire to gain knowledge in food safety. An exam may be taken at the end of class for a certificate of achievement from ServSafe.

- This certification is a food safety credential that verifies a person's knowledge and skills to manage food safety in a foodservice operation. The certification is offered by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) and is accredited by the American National Accreditation Board (ANAB). The certification is intended for restaurant owners, managers, and employees who are responsible for food safety in the workplace.
Kids and Teens

- In collaboration with Miraval Resorts, The junior golf class is designed for children ages 6 – 15 to learn and understand the game of golf. This class offers exposure to the game, active learning, and skill development toward the game of golf. The class will touch on the areas of full swing, short game and the rules of golf. The instruction will be conducted in a fun and supportive environment, while allowing students to learn and interact with their peers. No discounts or waivers.

- Journalism as Music, Multimedia, and Songwriting (JAMMS) integrates songwriting, multi-media production and performance. Led by musicians and multimedia artists trained in MIC's unique facilitation methodology, participants are guided in writing a song together as a group, recording it, creating a music video and performing the song at the program's culminating event. Participating 7th to 12th graders select a theme for their song and video from the take-aways of group discussions curated by program facilitators. Musicians and non-musicians alike are welcomed.
Foreign Languages

- Conversational Italian is designed for learners who want to engage with Italian speakers in real-life situations. This approach focuses on the essential vocabulary and expressions used in everyday conversations, from greetings and introductions to ordering at a restaurant or discussing plans. The emphasis is on listening and speaking skills, with practical exercises to build fluency and confidence. Perfect for travelers, students, or anyone looking to immerse themselves in Italian culture.
Music
- Be the band! In Music in Common’s Amplify program, skilled musicians reimagine songs written by youth from around the world in Music in Common’s JAMM program, propelling their powerful messages to a wider audience through live performances and recordings. Think of it as band camp on a mission. An original song will be written by the band and recorded for possible inclusion on an upcoming Amplify album. This program is open to musicians 18 and older from around the U.S.
Outdoor Fitness and Recreation

- In collaboration with Miraval Resorts, this program is designed to improve all aspects of your golf game, from a beginner to an experienced player. Over the course of this program you will learn everything from putting to taking your game to the golf course! In a group setting students will learn from each other while having fun and a few laughs. You can expect to walk away from this clinic series with the acquired knowledge of all aspects of the game of golf. No waivers or discounts.

- Join our Pickleball Beginner Clinic for a fun and easy introduction to the game! This session is perfect for those who have never played or are just getting started. After the first clinic, the focus will be learning beyond the basics. We will focus on refining technique, improving footwork, shot selection, and strategic movement. No discounts or waivers.

Professional Development

- From audio books to advertisements and beyond, we encounter recorded voices everywhere! In this one-night class, your instructor will take you behind-the-scenes in the voice over field for a fun and realistic look at how the voice over field really works.

- In partnership with Berkshire Media and Film Collaborative, this comprehensive workforce development workshop is designed to introduce you to the fundamental skills of being a production assistant (PA) on a film or television set. The curriculum emphasizes real-world scenarios and industry-standard practices. From assisting with set preparation to coordinating talent and managing equipment, you will explore the essential tasks that PAs undertake to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.

- This program was developed by Ann Shacar, RMT, in response to the needs of the residents and staff of Long-Term Care and Healthcare facilities. Family Caregivers will also greatly benefit from this class. This program is designed to teach the principles and techniques of Reiki and how to use them to assist residents and clients as well as themselves, emphasis is placed on behavior modification, dementia, anxiety and stress management. Students will receive Certification in Level 1 Reiki at the completion of class.
Self Care

- This interactive workshop will explore sustainable nutrition and hydration habits, helping participants identify and replace unhealthy habits with positive, lasting changes. Discussion topics will include healthy vs. unhealthy foods, hydration strategies, and practical ways to integrate better choices into daily life.

- Ecopsychology studies the interconnectedness of humans and the natural world by bridging the gap between ecology and psychology. It looks at how the balance and health of the human body and mind reflects the health of the environment, and vice versa. This area of study is for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of the roles the human species play in our natural environment. It is especially helpful for those interested in fields like environmental education and advocacy, healthcare and healing and social services.
