Affirmative Action Committee
ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ (BCC) is committed to fostering a campus environment where all individuals are treated with dignity, respect and fairness. As part of that commitment, the College maintains an Affirmative Action Committee that serves as an advisory body to the President on matters related to affirmative action, equal opportunity, diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility.
The Committee brings together representatives from across the College community, including faculty, administrators, professional staff, classified staff and students. Members are appointed by the President and reflect the diverse perspectives and experiences that make up our campus community. The Director of Compliance and Advocacy, who serves as the College's Affirmative Action Officer and Title IX Coordinator, participates as an ex-officio member of the Committee.
