Club Sports

Club Sports at BCC

If you are interested in Club Sports, please email paterson@berkshirecc.edu for more information. Club Sports are going to be going strong in the 2024-2025 academic year.

Club Sports are competitive sports teams that practice weekly and compete against other colleges. While Club Sports are different than NJCAA athletics many of the same principles apply, however with Club Sports the time commitment is not as significant and there are no scholarships.

Club Sports are a great way to stay involved in sports you love and get to meet other students at BCC who also love that sport.

The requirements to play a club sport at BCC vary depending on the sport you choose. You must be a BCC student in good standing with the college and be able to attend club practices and competitions.

Club Soccer Team

Please email dshreve@berkshirecc.edu if interested in playing Club Soccer with BCC.

BCC Club Soccer Indoor Men's League Monday Nights at Paterson

BCC Club Soccer is currently playing an indoor season for the Spring semester 2025. The indoor season is a good opportunity to grow numbers as we eye a return to fielding an outdoor competitive team and rejoin the NIRSA Region I Club Soccer league in the future.

This group also currently plays indoor pickup on Thursdays at 7:30pm at Paterson.

BCC students interested in playing Club Soccer must only be enrolled in a class each semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. Once BCC rejoins the NIRSA Soccer League students must be enrolled in 6 credits and have a cumulative GPA at BCC of 2.0.

The Club Soccer team is currently looking for a coach.

Running Club

BCC Run Club has concluded for Spring 2025 - hope to see everyone back this Fall!

First Meeting

  • Week of September 8, 2025
  • Paterson Lobby
  • We will have multiple groups to meet multiple abilities from Run/Walkers, who are building up to a mile at a time, to Marathoners!

If you love running or are looking to up your mileage join the BCC Run Club.

Overall this Club will create a running plan for each member based on your history and goals. The BCC Run Club will meet at least weekly for a workout. And after hearing our member goals we will find an event in the late Fall to work toward.

For beginner runners there will be a Couch to 5K program offered in the Spring, but the BCC Run Club may be a little too much for first timers.

We would love to have students, faculty, and staff join and participate in our Running Club.
